Kool-Aid Krazy!
A while back I did a little experiment with dyeing 100% wool yarn with Kool-Aid drink mixes. There are tons of websites out there with information on this, including color charts for the different flavors, so this is not the definitive resource! Do a search for more information.

Hmm. Need a picture for this step. This is the
fun part!

Step 4: Go Krazy Remove the yarn from the water/vinegar soak and place it in the container. Drizzle your colors over the yarn as desired. You can use a spoon, a turkey baster, a syringe, or whatever you've got. Be sure that you get the color all the way to the center of the hank.

Step 7: Dry the yarn Let your yarn hang outside to dry. Once dry, you can wind it into a ball. It will look much better and smell fruity! |
