Here's a shot of the new handcrank. The decals aren't nearly as pretty as the old ones were, but it gets the job done.
Following the conversion instructions, I decided to just remove the screw on the bobbin winder and hold the "tire" against the wheel when winding a bobbin. My reasoning was that one day I might want to convert this machine back to electric--and I'm a little afraid of vises and cutting things.
