This treadle head came in an auction lot that my uncle bought. He had no desire to purchase a sewing machine, so one day when I was visiting, he gave it to me.
I think this is my experimental machine. Every time I want to try a new cleaner, I try it on this one. Let's face it--it can't get much worse. I have no treadle base to put it in, someone probably made a table (grimace) out of that long ago. And, even though all of the parts are here, I probably will never sew on it.
